We welcome anyone concerned with the implementation of honest, efficient, and responsive government. The SD 58 Republicans believe in these principles as stated in the Declaration of Independence: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these rights are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Please know that our Full Committee meets about 4 times per year, these meetings are always open to the public, and are a great place to start getting involved. Watch the events calander for upcoming meetings and events.

5th CD Chairs meeting Monday May 21 2012 6:30pm All BPOU 5th CD chairs are invited and full committee member are welcome as well. This will be an open meeting so anyone can come.

Convention and Meet and Greet

We have an endorsing convention on May 15th set up at Broadway Pizza (Broadway and West River Road). The convention will begin at 5:45 p.m. Registration will open about 5:30 p.m. and close at 6:15 p.m. The cost will be $12.50. You will be able to attend the fund raiser and the convention for $25 or the convention for $12.50 and a donation to a SD59 endorsed Candidate to help them meet the State match. Suggested donation $50 per person to the candidate.

Right after the convention, beginning about 6:30 we will have a fundraiser meet and greet for all candidates for the US Senate. There will be some time for questions. Then, we will allow the 5th CD Candidate Chris Fields and any of our own candidates plus any close State, House or Senate candidates that wish to speak for a few minutes. After they speak, you will have an opportunity to meet them personally. A pizza/Salad buffet will be served from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and I am sure they will not ask us to leave if we stay longer. The cost of the fundraiser is $25 in advance or $35 at the door, and will cover the cost of the convention as well.
